Rooted & Free started with a dream and a one-day-a-week program in 2020. From there, it has blossomed into a thriving community where children are growing and learning from toddlerhood through middle school. Its offerings now include a multi-day preschool and K-2nd grade half-day classes, as well as caregiver & me classes for toddlers and preschoolers, alongside enriching K-8th grade nature classes.
Across all its programs, the core focus remains the same: to deeply connect students with the natural world. Through a thoughtful blend of free play and guided learning, it cultivates the essential social-emotional, educational, and physical skills that empower children for success at Rooted & Free and far beyond the school’s embrace.
